A Linux distribution is similar to a mix tape: you put together the songs you want in the order that you want.  For UKnow4Kids, I've put together a selection of educational software written by projects arising from the open source software development community, which spans the globe. Because the software is open source, there are no commercial licenses to buy, enabling distributions like this one to spawn on their own.  I assembled UKnow4Kids, but the real artists work for the projects listed below.  KDE educational and gaming software listed below can be reached at the KDE Education Project.
